… (for fashionistas anyway) Fashion Week!
Before I go any further, let me introduce myself. My name is Heather and I am also one of Tell Us Fashion’s new bloggers and I am really looking forward to blogging daily about the wonderous world of fashion and the joy it brings me. Feel free to comment on my blogs and give me your opinions too!
London Fashion Week… where to begin guys?! There were so many amazing shows and so much happening (including tumbling models on the catwalk with Burberry’s extremely high heels – oh the risk us girls put up with for fashion eh!!) Its already got me day dreaming about what I will be wearing next Spring/ Summer when I’ve barely got to grips with my winter wardrobe! Gotta love super fast fashion!
My favourite show of the week had to be Charles Anastase. Maybe not everyone’s first choice but I just can’t resist those cute peter pan collars, pastel tones and towering heels. The pieces were so simplistic in terms of shape and structure but I thought they had so much impact and gave off a strong spring vibe.
Being a bit of a girly girl at heart I just couldn’t resist the feminity of these pieces! I could just imagine myself sitting in a lovely park on a sunny summers day wearing this stunning dress.. hat… shoes! I love the quirkiness of it all!!
here are some more of his BEAUTIFUL collection. I just love it.
Metallics for SS ’11? Fantastic!
and last but certainly not my least favourite piece from the collection…
So what do we think of his collection? I think this would be channelled straight down onto the high street next season and I wouldn’t be surprised if retailers like Miss Selfridge are all over these pieces – seems so Miss Selfridge right?
Thought it would be nice to introduce myself first. I am a new blogger in the tellusfashion team and my name is Yuliya. I will be posting London street-fashion straight-ups from today.
So here goes my first try and forgive me if something is not right. I will get there in no time!
Two completely different girls connected by the almighty black colour in their wardrobe.
Favourite brand: JNBY
Why we love it: Ultimate asymmetry! Stands out from the crowd with its unique simplicity.
Location: Kelvinbridge Station,
Wardrobe Essential: Leather Jacket
Shops Mostly At: H&M
Why we love it: It’s different! Swap your boring black pantyhose for a fun patterned pair like these (H&M) and you’ll be sure to turn heads all over the city — They certainly caught our attention!
