Very vintage…

If you’re reading this blog then you’re obviously a super-stylish fashionista, and unless you’ve been hiding under a rock for the past 2 weeks it can’t have escaped your knowledge that we are entering the third of the four most fashionable weeks in the fashion world calendar. New York and London have been and gone and now Gucci opened Milan today with a deliciously dark show that paid tribute to its twenties origins. With sequins, flapper style dresses, drop waists, fringing and art deco motifs, it’s just a matter of time before this new trend goes viral in celeb land! (In fact a reliable source told me that French Connection showcased a fabulous flapper dress at Bristol Fashion Week only last night!)

Fancy yourself as a bit of a trendsetter? Then get ahead of the fashion game and head on over to Tellusfashion for a unique way to wear the hottest trends, safe in the knowledge that you won’t meet 3 other people on the same night wearing the carbon copy of your outfit! For some fabulous fringing check out this White Fringe Dress or Camel Coloured Halter Neck Maxi Dress. For a knockout mini then try this vintage style Faded Rose Dress. All designed by Ekaterina Kukhareva who puts emphasis on using fringing and beading in her designs-perfect for the 1920s look!

What do you think of this forthcoming trend? Will you be vamping it up in the vintage look?  Tellus

Peep show…

Seems all the A-list our holding their own private peep shows this week with cut out dresses being the pick of the crop for coveting their fabulous figures. Beyonce wasn’t going to let a little thing like pregnancy get in the way of her style credentials as she appeared at the opening of the Tony Burch Madison Avenue Flagship store.  Pairing both leather and cut-out detail in her edgy dress, she was at risk of looking that little bit too risqué but she kept it classy with the long length of the frock. Kim Kardashian  appeared at New York Fashion week watching her half  sister Kendall’s catwalk debut in her striking silver number and Rochelle Wiseman flew the flag for the Brit girls showing off her impressive cleavage in her Celeb Boutique dress.

Want to get your own cut-out couture? Then head on over to Tellusfashion and check out this Baby Cut-Out dress. Not for the faint hearted, you’ll need to start on those sit ups now! Just remember that the more daring the dress the less outrageous your hair and make-up, keep it simple and chic!

So what do you think of the cut-out trend? Will you dare to bare? Tellus…

Lady in Red…

I’ll be the first to admit that I was more than a bit excited to see not one, not two, but three of my biggest girl crushes; Jessica Alba, Selena Gomez and Eva Longoria on the cover of  October’s issue of Latina magazine. Celebrating the fifteenth anniversary of the publication, 15 lovely Latin ladies posed alongside each other in designer red dresses, bringing a whole new meaning to the phrase, ‘lady in red.’ Other beauties snapped on the cover included Shakira, Gloria Estefan and Zoe Saldana.

A great red dress has the ability to transform even the most shrinking violet into a sex-siren, so why not  rev it up in red and sizzle into Autumn by heading over to Tellusfashion? This Red cocktail dress by Esse-Elle’s stand out colour will allow you to get noticed but the chic and elegant cut and demure length stops it from being tacky. Likewise this dark red little lace dress by Guillermo Leon oozes sophistication but with a fiery and sexy twist. If however, you’re not feeling brave enough to embrace all over red, then a red clutch or red shoes will add a pop of colour to your outfit.

So what do you think of the raunchy red trend? I  love the cover, my only issue being where are Eva Mendes and Penelope Cruz…?

Back to Black…

The A-listers channeled their inner dark angel’s at this years VMA’s, with deliciously dark tones ruling the red carpet. Ok, so it may not be the most fashion-forward trend of the moment, but nobody can deny the timeless elegance (and trusty faithfulness!) of the LBD. A fabulous black dress is a great investment as it’s not a faddy trend that will fall off the fashion radar quicker than the time it takes you to have the overwhelming urge to punch Jedward in the face when they appear on your TV screens.  And these celebs look anything but dull, each choosing to add a unique touch to their LBD’s.

Britney is in great shape at the moment and this Moschino sequinned dress is the perfect way to showcase her fab new figure. If only the dress was a touch longer and the less said about those Gina patent peep-toes boots the better. Not only are they hideous but they also make her calves look a lot more shapely than they really are.

Rocking a broken foot like only Jessie J can, one of Brit School’s finest exports pairs her fancy crutches and intricately detailed cast with a bejewelled black leotard.

For a woman with such lovely taste in fashion, it beggars believe as to why Selena Gomez’s taste in men is so…off the mark. Anyway, Selena looks gothically gorgeous in this Julien Macdonald number. Teamed with gold pumps and understated hair-the perfect combination for the dramatic dress.

Want your own affordable unique LBD? Then head on over to Tellusfashion. This classic Little Black Dress is a timeless design made from Jacquard fabric from designer Sovacolletion. If you want to stand out from the crowd then make like Jessie J and get your hands on this Daly Opaque from Eyola. Customise and bejewel it up and you’ll have a look ready to rival the A-list!

Welcome to the jungle…

It’s time to channel your inner wild child this Fall, as animal print is making a big statement this coming season, and it’s a lot more wearable than you may first think. Whether you choose to look lovely in leopard, sexy in snake or zesty in zebra there’s a print for everyone. As always the celebs are already at it, so which print will you be working this Autumn? Tellus

Never one to look anything short of fabulous, Kate Moss looks incredible in this Lanvin Snake Print dress. Pairing the dress with a Chanel handbag, Christian Louboutins and a white blazer she pulls of effortless glamour to a tee.

Good old K-Dash is never one to miss a trend and she works it very well in this floaty zebra print dress. With sleek hair and her chic Birkin bag she brings sophistication to the animal print trend, which is more than can be said for her next look…

Good grief, from fab to drab in the shake of a (leopards? zebras? cheetahs?) tail, how the mighty have fallen. Ms Kardashian shows us how NOT to wear the animal print trend, showing that sometimes even the best get it so very wrong. The all over print of this Roberto Cavalli is hard to pull off especially if you’re blessed with the Kardashian curves and let’s not even discuss the tasselled bag thing…

Want to check out some fantastic up and coming designers take on the animal print trend? This Printed Tunic & Silk Skirt contains flashes of leopard print for her subtle but sexy take on the trend. Designed by Nicci, her designs are a unique alternative to high street clothes who takes inspiration from all different kinds of sources.

So go on, take a walk on the wild side…

Everybody’s starry eyed…

Star motif clothing: No I’m not reminiscing about childhood fashion when the highlight of being dragged around the shops with mum was a trip into Tammy Girl, excitedly clutching a bag with a cute kitty/heart/star motif t-shirt, but the current Dolce and Gabbana print that the celebs just can’t get enough of…

The runway was saturated in stars back in February when Dolce and Gabbana showcased their Fall 2011 Ready-to-Wear Collection.

Literally everybody has been seen in this playful print from Jessica Alba to Lily Allen to Lucy Liu showing  just how versatile and wearable the trend is, but who wears it best? Tellus

Jessica Alba looks glowingly gorgeous in her head to toe Dolce and Gabbana halterneck gown. Choosing a smaller star print in monochrome she shows just how much of a yummy mummy she is-she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Haven just 13 days later!

How effortlessly gorgeous does Ashley Tisdale look in this oversized D&G jumper and cut-off shorts? She works casual airport chic to a tee, teaming the knit with tan flat sandals, oversized sunglasses and Louis Vuitton luggage.

Images all courtesy of Zimbio

Fergie adds a splash of colour to the starry look at the Teen’s Choice Awards in her yellow and black long-sleeved mini, it’s just a shame she chose the same colour combination for her barnet…

Be a star in your own right and hit the High Street to find affordable versions of this popular trend. If you’re more shrinking violet than shining starlet then you can incorporate the look into your accessories. Like the idea but want to add your own unique twist to it? Check out this Starfish Dress, but take my word it’s not for the faint hearted-you need some serious fashion mojo to carry off this look…

Hell for leather…

The Teen Choice Awards held last weekend showcased many a trend from bright colour blocking, sophisticated monochrome to clean whites. However the biggest style statement came from the likes of Blake Lively, Tyra Banks and Elizabeth Banks who certainly toughened up the style credentials by hitting the Red Carpet in risqué leather…

Blake Lively sizzled at the Teen’s Choice Awards in an orange Gucci Resort 2012 leather mini. She teamed the dress with amazing leopard print Christian Louboutins pumps, bronze make-up and Lorraine Schwartz jewellery.

Tyra Banks cut a striking figure on the red (or should I say blue?) carpet in this Thierry Mulger leather catsuit. Describing her look as a “fierce bumble bee” on Twitter, the supermodels get up did have an air of super-hero chic to it. I’m not completely sold on the look but applaud Tyra for her bold and certainly not boring style.

Images all courtesy of Zimbio

Actress Elizabeth Banks wowed at the awards just 5 months after giving birth to her son Felix, wearing a fitted 2012 Resort J.Mendal dress to the awards. She Paired the look with fiery red lips to match her dress and nude peep-toe platforms.

Like what you see? Then head on over to Tellusfashion and check out these leather looks from our fantastic up and coming designers. This black leather dress  is a bold look that will definitely get you noticed on the dancefloor. After all, brains behind the brand Esse-Elle, Sebastian Löjdkvist mantra is “Less is not always more…Less can very often, be a bore!” If the all over leather-look is a bit daring for you then this short leather skirt would look amazing with a simple white blouse like the ivory silk jersey top. Designed by Caitlin Paxton, she creates interesting, beautiful garments that are able to become part of every elegant woman’s wardrobe.

Bring me sunshine…

Fed up of the rain and this poor excuse of a Summer? Then inject some sunshine into your life with the hottest colour of the moment. Bright canary yellow hues are everywhere from dresses to shoes to handbags, and never ones to fall under the style radar, the celebs have been out in full force dressed in this bold and summery colour.

It’s a Topshop special this week as both ex-TOWIE star Amy Childs and Myleene Klass stepped out in this Topshop Skater style dress. Both British beauties looked gorgeous in the £46 dress, which soon flew off the shelves and is now currently out of stock! Essex’s favourite leading lady wore the dress knotted at the waist with a plaited brown belt and black patent pumps, while Myleene paired her’s with beige platforms, aviator sunnies and an oversized leopard print handbag.

Style icon Olivia Palermo shunned designer couture in favour of this Topshop midi dress to attend the Giambattista Valli haute couture show in Paris back in July. Adding her own style twist to the £40 dress, she added tribal necklaces and a Charlotte Olympia box clutch.

Want to get the look but concerned the yellow may be a bit bold for an all over look? Then head on over to Tellusfashion and check out a more subtle way to wear the yellow trend with this pretty Yellow satin bra and tie-side knickers with pearl bead trim. Designed by Esty Lingerie, creations are luxurious and feminine, perfect for the woman who wants a bit of glamour in her underwear drawer.Brains behind the brand Estelle Puleston set up online boutique Esty Lingerie back in 2009 as a store where every woman could find what she was looking for, including basics right through to burlesque and ultra-luxurious pieces.

Bell Sleeved Beauty

Do not worry Tellusfashion followers, I haven’t been utterly spellbound by Harry Potter mania…As featured in the Fall 2011 collections from Tracy Reese and Elie Tahari,  bell sleeves are the newest celebrity trend but we’re not talking the kind of sleeves worn by Merlin, Maid Marion or the dodgy outfits lurking at the bottom of your fancy dress box. No, the bell sleeves as worn by the A-list beauties are delicate and dreamy, just take this lot for inspiration…

Jennifer Hudson performed in Central Park wearing a Givenchy bell-sleeved white blouse with sheer black shoulders tucked into a full volume high-waisted black flare skirt. She finished her monochrome look with red popping Mary-Jane heels.

Lily Allen’s made like Kate Middleton and wore not one but two wedding gowns on her big day earlier this summer. The incredible empire-waisted Chanel gown designed by Karl Lagerfield featured sheer bell sleeves adding to the romance of the dress.

Kate Moss looks the picture of happiness on her wedding eve earlier this month. Her aqua vintage gown with flowing skirt and bell sleeves created a 70’s hippy princess look although I’m not sure on the crushed velvet Tabitha Simmons boots, a pair of embellished flats would have added a gorgeously laid-back glamorous twist to the look.

Want to get your own unique take on the trend? Then head on over to Tellusfashion and check out this Button up Blouse with Draped Pleated Sleeves. Designed by Nai, brains behind the brand Nadia Ivanova creates “wearable conceptual fashion with story line.” Perfect for work or play, team the blouse with a brooch detail necklace and a tight-fitting pencil skirt or pair of cigarette pants to balance the volume of the sleeves and a look that screams ladylike chic. Check out  Ngone Creations,  for more intricately detailed pieces of jewellery like the brooch detail necklace.

Heavy Metal…

All things metallic have been huge this season giving easy, wearable glamour to summer pieces. The best way to wear this stand-out look is to work one key piece paired with an otherwise casual ensemble for a look that will get you noticed for all the right reasons. (Not because you look like a christmas turkey wrapped in tin foil ready for a roasting). If you’re rocking a metallic dress then keep your accessories, shoes and make-up minimal, but if you’re not quite ready to embrace all things shiny then get your metallic fix from statement jewellery and shoes.

Take actress Emma Roberts for example: she shines (literally) in this metallic gold leather Miu Miu dress, pairing it with simple suede black Prada Mary Janes and a black Prada clutch.

This isn’t the first time this year that metallics have proven a hit on the red carpet. Way back in February both Selena Gomez and Jennifer Lopez hit the Grammy’s in dazzling metallic frocks, Selena in a slinky J.Mendel gown and Jlo in a thigh skimming silver Emilio Pucci number. Jlo even put two fingers up to the style rules and went head-to-toe metallic pairing her mini with metallic jewelled clutch, shoes and some serious bling…

Want to get your own slice of shiny action from super talented up and coming designers? I thought as much, so head over to Tellusfashion and check out this amazing Metallic Grey Dress. Team this dramatic knitted dress with simple clutch and court shoes for a simply dazzling look. Designed by Ekaterina Kukhareva, a talented knitwear designer. Want to work the metallic trend but want something a bit more subtle? Then take a look at this statement Gunmetal necklace from Anathema Designs. Designer Sian explains how her jewellery designs “attempts to show how everyday or broken or even ‘ugly’ materials and items can be transformed into something special and beautiful.”

Looks like metallic mania is here to stay. Tellus, What do you think of the trend…?

Out of the blue…

It may be only July, but in the fast-paced fashion world, all eyes are on whats hot for fall 2011. And if you thought that the shorter days of Autumn would result in richer, warmer tones as a new celeb trend  you’d be wrong…Designers and celebrities alike can’t get enough of the pastel, soft pale blue tones this forthcoming season. First paraded down the Pre-Fall 2011 runways by Ellie Saab, Nina Ricci and Alberta Ferretti, whoever knew baby blue could be so beautiful?

Images courtesy of Style.com

The A-list was soon to follow the passion for pastel and showcased their looks at the BAFTA Brits to watch gala. Here’s the round-up of the best dressed in blue.

Cat Deeley was the belle of the ball in blue in this Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2011 collection drop waist dress. She accessorised the look with a  simple bangle and loose waves, letting the dress do the talking.

Nicole Kidman brought a touch of timeless beauty to the red carpet in this Ellie Saab Couture gown. The pale blue beaded column dress looked great against her pale skintone and the deep cowl neck back added an intriguing twist to the dress.

All images courtesy of Stylebistro.com

Never one to step a foot wrong in the fashion stakes, Blake Lively looks fabulous in this Marchesa dress. The one-shouldered sheer grey-blue frock featured intricate embroidery adding to the soft romantic look.

Fancy a bit of your own something blue? Then head over to Tellusfashion. This Zeria blue and lilac dip- dye dress is fantastic for laid back, sophisticated style. This cute tea dress will see you through the rest of the Summer and well into Autumn, the luxurious silk material adding a touch of luxury to-day time dressing. Or if you’re looking for something more suited to evening style, this Crystal Alice emerald blue and cream party dress would be a great choice with its intricate embroidery and beading. Both dresses feature in collections by TheRemedi.co.uk, chief designer Diana Irani Gressier aims for her luxurious day to evening clothes to create that feeling of “discovering a little boutique off the main street”. All products are intricately handcrafted and stocked in Harrods, Harvey Nichols and Urban Outfitters to name just a few.

Dare to bare…

Ladies, it’s time to tone up those tummies because the crop top trend is here to stay. Featured in the Spring/ Summer ’11 collections by Haakan, Chanel and Rachel Comey, the designers made the look their own in very different ways; Haakan in tough long-sleeved leather, Chanel with sheer panels and minimalist monochrome for Rachel Comey. So you better start those sit-ups girls if you want to be in with the fashion ‘it’ crowd this summer…

All images courtesy of Style.com

The A- listers have also been putting their very own style stamp on the trend, with some going all out and  flashing the flesh, whilst others keep it subtle.

Ever the body confident Rihanna dared to bare both her midriff and perfect pins at the launch of her perfume waaay back in February. She paired the look with elongating nude platforms-see the never-ending legs are probably just an illusion, bet she’s got stumps like the rest of us…

On any normal person I’m sure this get-up would look frankly, well ridiculous, but on Daisy Lowe, it just works. It maybe the Versace credentials that makes this Aztec Print crop top and colourful high-waisted skirt combo look great, it maybe Daisy’s quirky style that pulls it off but it’s probably just the fact that she’s a gorgeous model.

All image courtesy of Stylebistro.com

Kelly Rowland flaunts her fab abs at the X Factor auditions in this colour pop crop top by Twenty8Twelve, and who can blame her with the hours she must have put in at the gym for a tummy as toned as that!

For us mere mortals that may not be as body confident as some of our favourite celebs, a great way to get the look and still keep covered up is by teaming your crop top with a high-waisted knee-length skirt like Daisy’s or trousers. Why not head over to Tellusfashion and check out this Baby Pink Crop Top. Don’t let the cute name fool you, this sexy leather crop top is anything but rainbows and butterflies. Designed by Flik Hall, her work “embodies contemporary luxury, synonymous with edgy restraint” by combining interesting and contrasting fabrics – check her out today!

A whiter shade of pale…

The fashion runways were awash with more white than a Daz advert this spring/summer season. Featured on the catwalk of Christian Cota, Haakan and Gianfranco Ferré the models stunned in the clean, crisp look that turned even the darkest angels into erethral, whiter than white goddesses…

All images courtesy of Style.com

Wanting to get a piece of the fashion action, the celebs soon followed suit and white washed their own looks. Here’s a round-up of the best dressed women in white:

Before Cheryl Cole went into the hiding after the whole X Factor palava, she was spotted looking sensational in this white Stephane Rolland number at Cannes this year. The plunging neckline, gold accessories and sleek hair all amounted to a very sophisticated and sexy look.

Kim Kardashian simply oozes glamour in this halter Lanvin dress. The Grecian style and cinched in waist emphasise Kim’s fabulous curves and the flowing romantic look of the dress makes a refreshing change from her beloved body-con!

As always, Rihanna puts her own edgy twist on the latest trends, this time choosing to work her white look in androgynous chic. She keeps her Max Azria suit sexy with a daring neckline, feminine make-up and gorgeously tousled hair.

All images courtesy of Stylebistro.com

Want to get your own clean-cut look for less? Then head over to Tellusfashion where you can work it in white with the help from our fantastic up and coming designers. This amazing White Fringe Dress with its deep V-neck, Swarovski studded and “free-flowing elegance” encapsulates the current white trend perfectly; romantic and soft with a glamorous edge. Designed by Ekaterina Kukhareva, she takes her inspiration from various queens of different eras and aims to create; “timeless and high quality pieces with the emphasis on the beauty of the female body and the elegance and sexiness of the collection wearer.”

Inspired by the way Cheryl Cole mixed white and gold? Then check out this White Fantasia dress deigned by JZ COUTURE; pure white silk with gold embroidery, the design philosophy of taking inspiration and then contrasting Western silhouettes and Eastern crafts is evident within the collection as they create dresses that are, “an ode to contemporary glamour and boast a bohemian touch.”

All that glitters may not be gold but sequins are seriously sexy this season…

A trend usually reserved for the festive party season has reappeared on the fashion radar early this year. Once a look favoured by Maureen at the office Christmas party (you know the one, a piece of mistletoe permanently in her hand, winking suggestively at the work experience boy) sequins featured heavily in the Spring Summer collections of Diane Von Furstenberg, Giorgio Armani and Just Cavalli.

All that glitters may not be gold, but all that sparkles is seriously sexy this season…

Images all courtesy of Style.com

And where the catwalk and designers lead the celebs are sure to follow, here’s my top 3 dazzlingly dressed divas this week:

Jessie J is virtually unrecognisable out of her trademark leotard at the Glamour Women of the Year awards. With her enviable curves poured into this sparkling Dolce and Gabbana number, her slick, retro waves and  feline flicks she’s every inch the sequined siren.

Our favourite royal is stunning in this rose sequined Jenny Packham gown she wore to attend the ARK charity gala event last week. She kept her accessories simple with a cute satin box clutch, LK Bennett heels and her signature bouncy blow-dry, allowing the dress to do the talking.

Images all courtesy of Zimbio.com

Leighton Meester ensures she’s the hot topic of conversation in this silver Balmain shift dress at the MTV Movie Awards. She also opted for minimal accessories and simple hair resulting in a shimmering stylish look.

If you want to establish your own unique take on the sequins trend then head to Tellusfashion. This daring sequined party dress by Ess-Elle will make you stand out from the crowd with its mix of sequins and leather for an edgy twist. Designer behind the brand Sebastian takes inspiration from the high fashion look made famous by Lady Gaga. With a penchant for glamorous, extravagant and futuristic designs he claims that “Less is not always more…Less can very often, be a bore!”

If however you’re looking for something a bit more classic then this gold sequined dress will be just what you’re looking for.Glasgow based  Caitlin Paxton  designs interesting and beautiful clothes for the elegant woman and takes pride in a very client-based business, taking their taste’s into consideration when designing the garments and always cutting her own patterns.

Colour blocking couture

The colour blocking trend shows no sign of slowing this Spring/Summer season with red carpets everywhere clashing with celebrities adorned in crayola shades. The bold look was a popular one on the Spring / Summer 2011 catwalk as featured by Issa, Haider Ackermann and Julien Macdonald.

(Images courtesy of Style.com)

If it was bright, bold and block colour then it was the pick of the day at the CFDA Fashion Awards earlier this week. Grab your shades- there’s nothing pale and interesting about this lot…

Jessica Alba wasn’t letting a little thing like pregnancy get in the way of her following  fashion, as she teamed coral and purple in this elegant Diane Von Fusternberg maxi.

Model Chanel Iman looked absolutely stunning in this Max Azria cut out turquoise gown, the  eye-popping block colour fabulous against her glowing skin tone.

(Images courtesy of Zimbio)

Tunisian model, Kenza Fourati works this daring Marc Bouwer maxi to a tee. The sapphire hue teamed with her pale complexion and rich red lips shows that she was born to wear block colour.

Here at Tellusfashion our designers are always one step ahead of the fashion pack and the colour blocking craze is most definitely on their radar…

Take for instance Edinburgh fashion brand;  Teaataunties. Founded by Nicola McIntyre, her mantra is “out with the old, in with the new” aiming to source new and cutting edge fashion from vintage and pre- loved material. With a focus on unique pieces,  her Pant suit is fantastically on trend with colour block detail and wide leg trousers, a nod to the 70s fashion influence this season.

Across the pond, designer brand Annie and Jade have a fantastic collection of bold and bright colour-block frocks. Focusing on clean designs and strong silhouettes, the brains behind the brand Annie Le “designs clothes that compliment the female form”. Even better you can look amazing whilst knowing the garments are ethically sound, made of natural, fairtrade, organic and recycled materials. Get Kendra Fourati’s look for less with this beautiful, one shoulder Vann gown. Looking for something a bit less formal but that still packs the same colour block punch?  Then look no further than this sexy silk Ava dress.

Go on be bold and beautiful…

Lovely in lace

If you thought lace was a trend confined to fall 2010, then think again… Lace is just as big a trend this season but takes on a more romantic, softer feel in comparison to the darker gothic  look of last winter.Featured in the Spring/ Summer ’11 collections of Anna Sui, Oscar De La Rente and Vivienne Westwood this is a look that’s definitely here to stay.

                                           (Images all courtesy of Style.com)

Since Kate Middleton emerged, a vision in her lace sleeved Alexander McQueen wedding dress, the A-list have been flocking to emulate her ethereal look. Here’s some of the loveliest ladies in lace:

Model Chanel Iman worked the ladylike look in lace when she attended the ‘Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty’ Costume Institute Gala on May 2nd 2011 in this Dolce and Gabbana lace sheath dress.

Chloe Sevigny stops her lace from looking too girly by toughening it up with black accessories, red lips and biker boots.

Does Blake Lively ever get in wrong? Here she is looking gorgeous in another Dolce and Gabbana lace creation. The flirty scalloped hem, the bracelet length blazer and the nude shoe boots all amount to a look that makes her on-screen and off, the talk of the town.

Want to get the celeb lacy look? Check out Tellusfashion the place to find the up and coming designers of the fashion world. Guillermo Leon has some amazing lace dresses and this Ivory and Black Little Lace Dress is a dead ringer for the Oscar De La Rente number.

If your less of a dress lady and more of a skirt kinda girl then this Skye Lace Skirt with its scalloped hem by Daveydarling will be right up your street.

Tangerine Dream…

No, this isn’t an article about the cast of The Only Way Is Essex, but about the tangerine trend that’s sweeping across the catwalk runways right through to the fashion rails in a store near you.

What a refreshing change to see Jennifer Aniston (the woman who wears so much black she may aswell be an undertaker) in this rather risqué, cleavage-baring, Vivienne Westwood orange dress paired with Christian Louboutins at her perfume signing at the beginning of May. Follow Jen’s fashion rules and finish the look with nude shoes and understated hair.

It seems Angelina Jolie not only shares Jennifer Aniston’s taste in men…The screen siren looked radiant in this elegant Jenny Packham gown at Cannes this year. Accessorising with simple Tiffany and Co jewellery (and Brad Pitt on her arm) she lets the dress do the talking.

Cheryl Cole may have been chucked from X Factor US, but she still hits all the trends and looks fabulous in this orange Giambattista Valli dress, Giuseppe Zanotti T-bar sandals and Vivienne Westwood sandals.

There’s no room for shrinking violets in this sensational citrus shade, so if the bold look is too much for you, wear it in one simple key piece, or stick to acid orange accessories. Check out TellusFashion and this orange jersey top for a subtle nod to the hottest colour on the catwalk or this orange cotton tunic if you want to put a more romantic twist on the trend.

Feel inspired by this juicy shade? There are loads of great choices to add a touch of vibrancy to your wardrobe. Get Angelina’s look with this Roberto Cavalli satin one-shouldered gown, go flirty and fun like Jen in this Diane Von Fusternberg silk dress or for a more casual look, these Ksubi Super Skinny jeans will look great with wedges to emphasise those perfect pins. Why not add a bright contrasting top to tick the colour blocking trend too?

Whoever knew being “tangoed” could be so stylish…
