Hell for leather…

The Teen Choice Awards held last weekend showcased many a trend from bright colour blocking, sophisticated monochrome to clean whites. However the biggest style statement came from the likes of Blake Lively, Tyra Banks and Elizabeth Banks who certainly toughened up the style credentials by hitting the Red Carpet in risqué leather…

Blake Lively sizzled at the Teen’s Choice Awards in an orange Gucci Resort 2012 leather mini. She teamed the dress with amazing leopard print Christian Louboutins pumps, bronze make-up and Lorraine Schwartz jewellery.

Tyra Banks cut a striking figure on the red (or should I say blue?) carpet in this Thierry Mulger leather catsuit. Describing her look as a “fierce bumble bee” on Twitter, the supermodels get up did have an air of super-hero chic to it. I’m not completely sold on the look but applaud Tyra for her bold and certainly not boring style.

Actress Elizabeth Banks wowed at the awards just 5 months after giving birth to her son Felix, wearing a fitted 2012 Resort J.Mendal dress to the awards. She Paired the look with fiery red lips to match her dress and nude peep-toe platforms.
