Temperley’s ‘Grace’ SS12 collection battles a new take on classical
decadent romance. Typical crystal encrusted gowns, beautiful silhouettes,
delicate lace and rich satin sit alongside bold flashes of colour, shots of
animal print, graphic floral’s and quirky fringing bringing a new, fresh focus
to luxury as unique statements collide with gorgeous, feminine shapes for a
timeless but innovative collection.
The collection toys with transparencies, creating exquisite shapes
with body-hugging dresses and tailored shirts complete with French lace and
golden crystal drops. The silhouettes appear elongated, sensual and unique
drawing upon the divide between the typical sights of gentle pearls that become
entwined with satin 70’s headbands and graphic prints.
The colours saw the usual representatives of a sensual, lady like
collection with creams, sweet pastels and gentle nudes that were sliced through
with dramatic navy and harsh whites as Temperely creates a contemporary but yet
traditional take on romance.
Draping’s of silk satin and shimmering sequins teamed with
brilliant, glossy red lips added the perfect edge to highlight Temperley’s
renowned craftsmanship. Fluid, clean lines and classic detail contrasted
against oversized prints, flowing kimono capes and new colours finish this
ultra glamorous, elegant collection that casts a thrilling new light on tradition.

After we found out Kate Moss was set to be wearing a dress designed by her close friend and fashion legend John Galliano, it was set to be the dress of the year in the fashion world. She arrived at the church in a silver Rolls Royce ready to marry her rockstar husband to be, Jamie Hince. She was joined in the car by her father and daughter and looked stunning as smiled for the cameras.
The supermodel tied the knot wearing a spectacular dress. The dress was perfectly body skimming and embellished in hundreds of crystals. It was simple and classic but yet so beautiful. Her lace veil was also embellised and topped with a gorgeous vintage style headband that went perfectly with her simple but pretty bouquet of white flowers.
The couple have now been said to be having a festival party, lasting three days behind the fashion icons mansion with guests such as Stella McCartney, Vivenne Westwood and Arcadia boss, Phillip Green. A real fashion festivity!
After the ceremony in Costwolds, the newlyweds simply beamed as they posed with their 15 bridesmaids, including her daughter, Lila Grace. Her husband opted for a light blue YSL suit and of course, added his inner rock star with a pair of sunglasses!

Luxury fashion label Bunmi Koko won Best International Designer at African Fashion Week last year and now the brand is growing international recognition around the world with the likes of Mel B and Michelle Obama after the designs.
The label first started up in 2009 by head designer Bumni Olaye and partner Francis Udom. Originally from Nigeria, Bumni studied at London College of Fashion where she clearly flourished. Looking through her latest collection, Kaleidoscope, previewed at London Fashion Week, it is clear to see how Bumni’s heritage shines through but also pulls the two countries, Britain andAfrica together.
With a mix of colours and fabrics from suede to leather and brilliant oranges to fabulous purples there is definitely a clear femininity to her collection. The structured dresses and metallic skirts also bring an element of futuristic fashion to the floor, leaving us excited to see what she will bring to next year.
The duo has also recently unveiled a beautiful but quirky bridal collection but while also capturing the romance with the luxe details and flowing fabrics and have been nominated for Retailer of the Year at the Scottish Fashion Awards. It seems this pair is certainly one to watch.
